You don't need another trekking company that simply sells you an itinerary.
You need a local team that knows the trail, understands the permits, knows what can change in the mountains and is there when something doesn't go according to plan.
That's what Places Nepal is built around.
Places Nepal Treks is a Kathmandu-based trekking company, and we operate our trips from Nepal. When you write to us, you're talking to the team arranging your permits, guides, accommodation, transport, airport pickup, itinerary changes and emergency coordination.
Your money and your questions reach the team actually operating the trek.
On the trail, your guide navigates, sets the pace and watches for signs of altitude trouble. They coordinate with lodges, talk with local people, help at permit checkpoints and decide what to do when plans change.
Our guides are licensed and trained for the routes they lead.
Trekking in Nepal involves more than walking. Depending on the route, we can arrange:
Inclusions vary by trip, so check the page for your route, such as the Manaslu Circuit Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek or Everest Base Camp Trek.
Roads close. Flights are delayed. Bridges get damaged. Weather changes. Landslides and snow can affect the trail.
A good operator makes practical decisions on the ground instead of simply following a PDF. Our local team assesses conditions and adjusts logistics when necessary. We can't promise every disruption can be solved, but:
We explain the situation, give you the available options and help you make the next decision.
Every trek page shows the duration, route, group size, departure dates, price, what's included, what's not included, permits, transport, accommodation and guide or porter arrangements.
When you compare Nepal trekking agencies, compare the actual inclusions, not just the headline price. See all Places Nepal treks, and read our Terms and Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy before you book.
Most of our fixed group departures are capped at seven trekkers. A smaller group means easier communication with your guide, more manageable pacing, less waiting and simpler lodge coordination.
Not every departure fills to seven, and group size is about comfort and communication, not a safety guarantee.
Fixed Group Departure: Join other travelers on a published date. Solo travelers can join where seats are available.
Private Trek: Choose your own dates and customize the itinerary where practical.
Each trip page shows which options are available.
We work across Nepal's major trekking regions: Everest Base Camp, Everest Three Passes, Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Langtang, Upper Mustang and Mardi Himal, plus customized treks. Browse all routes.
Nepal's trekking rules change. Permit requirements, TIMS, restricted-area rules, guide requirements, flight operations and conservation fees can all be updated.
You shouldn't have to work through that alone. For booked trips, we handle the required documentation and check current requirements while processing it.
Before your trek: itinerary questions, equipment questions, permit documents, arrival arrangements.
During your trek: guide communication, logistics, route changes, emergency coordination.
After your trek: feedback, documentation and any outstanding arrangements.
