Kapil Adhikari, born and raised in a small village in the hills of Dhading, Nepal, brings a rare combination of discipline, resilience, and deep local knowledge to every trek. A former army serviceman, Kapil transitioned from military life to the mountains, where his leadership skills and love for nature naturally led him to become a high-altitude trekking guide.

With over a decade of experience guiding treks across Nepal—from Everest Base Camp to the remote trails of Kanchenjunga—Kapil is known for his calm presence, sharp judgment, and unwavering focus on safety. Manoj Maharjan is a professional trekking guide from Kathmandu, Nepal, with years of experience leading adventurers through the majestic Himalayas. Since beginning his guiding journey in 2016, Manoj has become a trusted expert in Nepal’s most iconic trekking regions, including Manaslu, Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Upper Mustang, and many more hidden trails across the country.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali, Manoj is known for his clear communication, warm hospitality, and deep cultural knowledge. Fura Tashi Sherpa is a highly experienced mountain guide and climbing specialist from Solukhumbu, the heart of the Everest region in Nepal. Guiding since 2009, Fura Tashi has spent over a decade leading trekkers and climbers through Nepal’s most challenging and beautiful Himalayan landscapes, including Manaslu, Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Upper Mustang, and remote areas of Tibet.

He is a seasoned expert in Nepal’s major trekking destinations including Manaslu, Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Upper Mustang, and even extends his guiding expertise to regions of Tibet. Known for his calm demeanor, deep local knowledge, and dedication to safety, Ramhari has successfully guided countless international trekkers through some of the most remote and breathtaking landscapes on earth. Nghema Lama is from Kathmandu and has traveled across the Himalayas. Before joining Places Nepal Treks in January 2023, he spent several years documenting animal and bird life in remote forest reserves of Nepal. He now focuses on capturing the trekking experience through photography, combining landscapes, people, and life on the trails. His work continues to grow with each expedition.
