Thank you for choosing Places Nepal Pvt. Ltd. Before booking any trip with us, please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. These terms form a binding agreement between you (the client) and Places Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (the Company).
By booking a trip with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including our cancellation policies and limitations of liability.
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Submit your passport copy and completed booking form to [email protected].
Confirmation will be sent by email once the deposit and documents are received.
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted (4% processing fee applies).
Bank charges (if any) must be covered by the client.
Final payment for Nepal trips is due on arrival.
Final payment for India trips must be made at least 15 days before departure.
Failure to complete full payment by the due date may result in cancellation without refund.
Bookings made within 10 days of departure are accepted based on availability.
All cancellations must be made in writing.
31+ days before departure: 80% refund
15–30 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund
No refunds for missed services, early departures, or personal reasons.
You may request to change or postpone your trip at least 15 days before departure. A $200 USD change fee per person applies.
Trip transfers to another person are allowed if the new traveler meets all requirements. Documentation must be provided.
No changes are accepted within 15 days of departure.
If you cancel your trip after paying the deposit, the deposit will be held as a lifetime credit. You can use it for any future trip with us.
Trips may be delayed, altered, or canceled due to events outside our control, including:
Flight cancellations
Weather disruptions
Political unrest
Natural disasters (earthquakes, landslides, etc.)
Government-imposed travel restrictions
In such cases:
No refunds are issued.
Clients may reschedule or choose an alternative trip of equal value.
Extra expenses (accommodation, meals, transport) must be paid by the client.
Solo travelers may be subject to single supplement charges.
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to:
Insufficient bookings
Force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, etc.)
If we cancel:
You may reschedule the trip at no additional cost, valid for up to 3 years.
Alternatively, you can transfer your booking to someone else.
No cash refunds will be issued for force majeure events.
Refund claims must be made in writing within 45 days of trip cancellation.
Claims must be submitted from the same email used during booking.
Please retain proof of all correspondence.
Refunds are processed by the end of the calendar year.
You must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
Trip cancellation
Emergency evacuation
Medical treatment
Theft/loss of belongings
Climbing and trekking (including high-altitude and mountaineering activities)
Evacuation and medical costs must be paid in cash unless covered by your insurance.
It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re physically and mentally fit for your selected trip. Consult a doctor before trekking at high altitude or undertaking strenuous tours.
Obey local laws and respect local customs.
Illegal activities will be reported to authorities.
Follow instructions from guides and leaders at all times.
The guide’s decisions are final in matters of safety and trip management.
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disrespectful, or disrupts the group.
Customization requests, extended stays, or additional services may incur extra charges.
Unavoidable changes due to trail conditions, weather, or client injury may also lead to extra costs.
Clients under 16 years must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Contact us for age-related trip eligibility.
By joining our trips, you grant Places Nepal permission to use your photographs and videos for promotional purposes, without compensation.
We are committed to sustainable and ethical tourism. We ask that all travelers respect local communities, wildlife, and the environment during their journey.

Report the issue to your guide immediately.

We’ll make every effort to resolve your concerns quickly.
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Nepalese law. Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
