Cycle through diverse landscapes: valleys, forests, and gorges.
Ride safely with expert guides, porters, and 4x4 support.
Kick off with a scenic 6–7 hour drive via shared jeep or local bus. Wind through the Trishuli River Valley and central hill towns like Mugling and Dumre, reaching Besisahar, the traditional starting point of the Annapurna Circuit. Overnight at a local guesthouse.
Begin biking along jeep tracks via Khudi, Bhulbhule, Ngadi, and Bahundanda. Enjoy cascading waterfalls, rice terraces, and the rushing Marsyangdi River. Lunch at Jagat (1,300m), then ride past Chamje and ascend into the narrow gorge before reaching Tal, nestled beside a waterfall. Overnight in a teahouse.
Pedal through Dharapani and Bagarchhap, gradually climbing through conifer forests. Stop at Timang (2,750m) for lunch and sweeping views of Manaslu (8,163m). Continue via Thanchowk and arrive in Chame, the administrative center of Manang. Hot springs and the imposing Lamjung Himal greet you. Overnight in a lodge.
Today’s ride offers jaw-dropping vistas. Pass Bhratang, then ascend to Dhukur Pokhari. Stop for lunch at Upper Pisang (3,300m) overlooking Annapurna II and Gangapurna. Take the high trail via Ghyaru and Ngawal—steep but rewarding. Reach Manang, a Tibetan-style village at the base of snow giants. Overnight in a cozy lodge.
A day to adapt to altitude. Visit Gangapurna Lake and Glacier Viewpoint, or hike to Praken Gompa (3,950m) for blessings. Explore local bakeries, monasteries, and yak pastures. This rest day is critical for a safe ascent to higher ground.
A steady climb through Tengi and Gunsang (3,900m)—a good lunch stop. Cross pasturelands and observe Chulu West (6,419m) towering above. Trails become thinner and exposed as you reach Yak Kharka, a summer grazing settlement. Overnight in a basic lodge.
Ride past Letdar (4,200m) and descend slightly to cross Jarsang Khola. Push uphill to Thorong Phedi (4,540m), then ascend to High Camp—a challenging final section at altitude. Dinner and early rest to prepare for tomorrow's pass.
A pre-dawn start for the toughest day. Push or carry your bike over loose, icy terrain to conquer Thorong La, the highest rideable pass in Nepal. Epic views of Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak, and Yakwakang reward your effort. Descend rocky switchbacks to the sacred temple town of Muktinath. Overnight at a lodge.
Begin a technical descent through the dramatic Lupra Valley, eventually arriving at Jomsom for lunch. Continue riding to Marpha, home to the Thakali people and famous for its apples, whitewashed houses, and peaceful alleys. Overnight stay.
Cycle downhill through Tukuche, Kobang, Kalopani, and Ghasa. Ride alongside the world’s deepest gorge—the Kali Gandaki—with Dhaulagiri looming overhead. Lunch en route. Reach Tatopani, where you can relax in natural hot springs. Overnight in a teahouse.
Final day of cycling. Pedal through charming hill villages like Tiplyang and Galeshwor, then finish your ride in Beni. Celebrate your success and drive to Pokhara, where lakeside relaxation awaits. Overnight in a 3-star hotel.
Relaxed morning before a scenic 6–7 hour drive back to Kathmandu. Optional stop at viewpoints or local eateries along the way. Tour concludes upon arrival.

These communities are renowned for their rich traditions, vibrant festivals, and mountain hospitality. You’ll witness ancient customs, religious rituals, and the daily rhythms of life adapted to high-altitude conditions.

Mountain life here is shaped by the environment: yak herding, barley farming, and trade have sustained these communities for centuries. Your journey offers numerous opportunities to engage with locals, understand their relationship with the land, and enjoy authentic cultural exchanges.
The Annapurna region is steeped in historical significance. The nearby Gorkha kingdom played a pivotal role in Nepal’s unification under King Prithvi Narayan Shah during the 18th century. Trade routes through the circuit have linked Nepal to Tibet for hundreds of years, facilitating cultural, religious, and economic exchanges.
Sites like Muktinath date back millennia as spiritual centers. This sacred town blends Hindu and Buddhist influences, symbolizing Nepal’s religious harmony. The trail’s villages are repositories of oral histories, ancient monasteries, and centuries-old architecture reflecting the region’s evolving legacy.
Understanding this historical backdrop enriches your experience, making the mountain biking adventure a journey through both geography and time.
