Nepal Tour and Trekking Combo Package - 21 Days

The second day starts with breakfast in the hotel followed by a tour of Kathmandu city. Today you will walk the streets where the great Gods of Valley once walked and still do. We will Visit places like Soyambhunath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudanath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple and many other significant places. We will have lunch during the tour and end our day tour in Thamel.

The third day will begin with a road trip to Nagarkot. On the way, we will take a side trip to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Following exploration and lunch we will get back on the road to Nagarkot.

The fourth day starts with a breathtaking sunrise from Nagarkot with views of the Himalayas in the backdrop. Following breakfast we will head back to Kathmandu, only making a stop to immerse in peace at Namo Buddha Monastery.

Today we will officially leave Kathmandu Valley for the mighty adventure ahead. Following breakfast, we will take a bus or a private jeep (prices vary) to Bandipur, a beautiful town with a captivating history of traders going back almost 200 years. We will settle in a hotel or a homestay, whichever you prefer and spend our night here. Bandipur is a great place for a short hike and to get glimpses of the Annapurna & Dhaulagiri mountains waiting for us in Pokhara.

It will be hard to say goodbye to the serene town of Bandipur but a much grander adventure awaits in Chitwan. We will grab a ride from Bandipur and head towards the lush green plain of Chitwan. Chitwan might be a little warm from KTM so pack light clothes, those perfect for jungle safari.

After breakfast, you will begin your day with a short hike around the Tharu village. Following the village hike, you will embark on a canoeing excursion to observe crocodiles.

After the canoeing experience, you will take a brief stroll through the jungle for birdwatching. Following lunch, you will visit the Elephant Breeding Center.

In the evening, after swimming and refreshing, you will be treated to a Tharu cultural show. Finally, you will conclude your day with a delicious dinner.

We will wake up early, lace our boots, and begin our safari through the ancient forest where the King of the Jungle, the Royal Bengal Tiger still reigns. We will witness rare and endangered species like Sloth Bears, Gharials, Spotted Deer, Asiatic Elephants, One-horned Rhinoceroses, and many more. You can also opt for an elephant ride if the jeep ride seems too conventional. 

During our stay in Chitwan, we will also have a tour of the Tharu community, one of the largest indigenous groups of Nepal and learn about the original way of life.

After completion of the Chitwan trip, we once again are on the road, this time to the more peaceful city of Lumbini. Lumbini is one of the most popular Buddhist pilgrim destinations in the world. We will grab a ride from Bandipur and rest at a hotel to resume our tour the next day.

This will be a special day for us as we will be at the birthplace of Siddartha Gautam (Buddha). We will walk through the ancient street, witnessing monasteries from around the world and the temple of Maya Devi, the mother of Buddha. The place is filled with monks and Buddhist chants of peace ringing as a sweet melody

The time works fast here and before we know it day will be over.

With Lumbini ticked from our Itinerary, we will grab a ride and head towards Pokhara. On the hilly roads with legendary rivers by our sides we will reach Pokhara, making a few stops for lunch and snacks, in the evening. We will just rest the day out and prepare for the hike that waits in the city of lakes.

Waking up in Pokhara is a magic in itself. You will find yourself in the vibes lost in most of the tourist places in Nepal. Surrounded by lakes with the reflection of Himalayan peaks, friendly people, smiles and greetings flying around, Pokhara some might say is a “piece of heaven on earth.”

Following breakfast, we will grab a ride to Ulleri. On the way we will make some pit stops to enjoy popular landscapes and the local community. Once we reach Tickhedhunga, we will commence our 1.5-hour hike to Ulleri where we will spend the night.

From Ulleri we will start on our trek to Ghorepani. The path to Ghorepani is a mystical one, surrounded by rhododendron forests, beautiful villages and some pretty steep climb. We will reach Ghorepani in about 4 to 5 hours, depending on our pace. However, the journey might be strenuous but it will all be worth it. We will spend our night here awaiting another magical day tomorrow.

Today we will wake up early to catch the most beautiful and popular sunrise of Nepal from Poonhill. The hike to Poonhill is a steep one-hour journey and once we reach there it will all be worth it. It is a great place to get introduced to the Annapurna mountain range of Nepal.

Following a short stay at the top, we will descend towards Tadapani. 

From Tadapani, a beautiful Gurung village, we will start on our journey to Ghandruk. It will be an easy walk today. We will pass through lush green forest, trying to avoid leeches if it starts raining. We recommend you wear rain ponchos for this part of the tour.

Our 3-4 hours downhill journey will bring us to Ghandruk, the most famous Gurung village of Nepal. A place lost in time showing us the original way of the hill people of Nepal. The stone houses, wooden sheds, and many other elements contribute to the beauty of the place. We will spend our night in Ghandruk.

While a night is not enough to enjoy the beauty of Ghandruk, we will say goodbye to the place in the morning and start heading towards Sarankot. We will grab a ride from Ghandruk and towards Sarangkot.

Finally, we will have a day off at Pokhara. It is the day to explore and experience everything we want to and have been seeing during our trek. We can walk through the lakeside and local markets and enjoy lunch wherever you like. Places Nepal will assist you in every way possible to make this day the most memorable of your stay in Pokhara.

Today we will drive to Pumdikot, a beautiful viewpoint with a giant statue of the Hindu deity, Lord Shiva. The distance is about 11 km and we will reach there in about 45 minutes drive. Following the trip, we will drive to Begnas Lake and take in as much as we can of the city.

Today we will say goodbye to Pokhara City and officially end our trip. We will grab a quick lunch and fly back to Kathmandu. You will be dropped at your hotel with the promise of another short tour of Thamel the next day.

Today we will meet at your time and explore the gullies of Thamel. It is your day to take something apart from beautiful memories of Nepal to your country. You can buy souvenirs for your friends and families and meet with the team that made your journey successful. We will end the day with a cultural show and head back to the hotel for the flight the next day.
